Turns out, the best part of Sunday's Super Bowl was indeed the food. Or at least, reactions to a very specific food. As the Patriots and the Rams faced off in what became the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever, Twitter was busy once Fox News anchor Dana Perino decided to share her own game day snack.

We all know that’s not how queso is supposed to look. right? I mean, it’s cracking away from the edge of the Crock Pot.

Some internet hero dug up Perino's personal recipe from 2016 and it explains so much.

Queso recipe: velveeta, rotel, cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, sausage, bacon, heavy cream, diced jalapeños, fresh tomato & cilantro

In an incredible display of unity, the collective Twitter-sphere came together to decide that this was absolutely not queso and that Perino must be corrected before someone mistakenly dipped a chip into whatever it actually was. Many likened Perino’s queso concoction to things far less appetizing using her own declaration of “I made queso.”

There were even calls for justice on behalf of the great state of Texas, which should be known unofficially as “The Queso State.”

I feel like the state of Texas should sue her?https://t.co/AyJsZ6x5IC

According to Perino, the queso turned out to be a hit despite the internet haters.

I had no idea there was elitist foodie twitter. Good to know! Anyway, the queso is gone and the salad is still sitting there. So...whatever dudes!https://t.co/vvQaChsZHs

She took the criticism in a stride anyway.

At least tweets about my terrible queso are more entertaining than this game

Let us use this as a lesson: Twitter is ruthless, and queso should be taken very seriously.
