Coming off the best season of his career, expectations are high for Tennessee Titans veteran QB Ryan Tannehill . Below, we look at Ryan Tannehill's 2021 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.

Tannehill wasn't always considered a viable fantasy option; however, after throwing for 33 touchdowns and 7 interceptions last season, he has blossomed into one of the best game managers in the NFL.

It helps that he has the league's most dominant running back in Derrick Henry captaining the offense. The Titans also lost WR Corey Davis in free agency but were able to replace him with WR Julio Jones via trade.

As for Tannehill, he'll have the weapons to be considered a top-10 quarterback, but does he have the same outlook when it comes to fantasy football?

Tannehill won't be taken in the first wave of quarterbacks, but for now, it appears he's at the top of the second wave.

The former eighth overall pick is being selected as the 10th QB, on average, one higher than Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady (ADP 47.95). He has been taken as high No. 7 and as low as No. 170.

For the Titans, Tannehill is the third player being taken behind Henry (ADP 8.08) and Brown (ADP 35.64).

Where should you take Ryan Tannehill in your fantasy football draft?

Tannehill should be taken in the sixth or seventh round.

While that seems far lower than his normal ADP, he isn't that much better than many others in the second wave of quarterbacks available later in drafts.

In one-QB leagues, Tannehill will be taken marginally ahead of Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and Brady.

He was 10th in quarterback points per game among players with over five games played last season. He's a more surefire option than Hurts or Burrow, but he doesn't have the ceiling of most of the top-tier starters.

In two-QB leagues, Tannehill is a late-first or early-second round pick.
