First Round Game 1- Rolla vs. Transportation and Law 3 p.m. at S&T

Rolla Lady Bulldogs (6-1)

The Class 4 state-ranked Lady Bulldogs are coming off a tournament win in the Stephanie Phillips Classics and have wins over Hickman, Sullivan, Battle, Hartville, Parkview and Republic. Their only loss came against the top-ranked Class 5 Jefferson City Lady Jays in Rolla.

Rolla will have one more test before the tournament when 5-0 Columbia Rock Bridge comes to town on December 21.

The first game they will play will be against the Transportation and Law Lady Hornets from St. Louis City at the Missouri University of Science and Technology at 3 p.m. The Lady Hornets are 2-2 on the season.

St. Louis Transportation & Law Lady Hornets (2-2)

The Lady Hornets are from the St. Louis Public School District and Public High League. They are 2-2 on the year and have wins over Carnahan and Collegiate School of Med-Bio Science. Both schools are also from the city of St. Louis.

Their losses came against Wright City and Kipp High School of St. Louis.

The Lady Hornets had a game scheduled for Monday against Brentwood before tournament play.

First Round Game 2- Piasa Southwestern vs. Warrensburg 6 p.m. at RHS

Piasa Southwestern (Illinois) Lady Birds (8-1)

The Lady Birds are traveling to Missouri from Piasa, Illinois and have an 8-1 record on the year. They have wins over Nokomis (Ill.), Staunton (Ill.), Carlyle (Ill.) and Litchfied (Ill.) in the Litchfield Girls Round Robin Tournament over Thanksgiving.

They also have wins against Wavery (Ill.), North Green (Ill.), East Alton-Woodriver (Ill.), Calhoun (Ill.) and Roxana (Ill.). The only loss is against Gillespie High School also from Illinois.

The have games scheduled against Greenville and Quincy Notre Dame before the tournament.

Warrensburg Lady Tigers (2-2)

The Lady Tigers come into the tournament with a 2-2 record on the season. They have wins over Holden and Kansas City Lincoln College Prep.

Their two losses were to California and Sedalia Smith-Cotton. The Lady Tigers were scheduled to face Clinton on December 17 before they face Southwestern Piasi (Ill.) in the first round at Rolla High School.

First Round Game 3- Licking vs. Kansas City Central 4:30 p.m. at S&T

Licking Lady Wildcats (6-2)

The Lady Wildcats are state-ranked in Class 3 and are coming off a fourth place finish in the state tournament last year.

They have wins over Plato, Stoutland and Richland in the Frisco League Tournament. They also defeated state-ranked St. James on November 26. Their other wins were over Houston and Rogers Heritage High School from Arkansas.

The Lady Wildcats fell to top-ranked Jefferson City and state-ranked Kickapoo from Springfield.

Their game against Richland on December 16 was rescheduled and they are scheduled to face Steelvile in Licking on December 19.

Their first round game is against Kansas City Central at 4:30 p.m. on the campus of Missouri S&T.

Kansas City Central Academy of Excellence Lady Eagles (1-2)

The Lady Eagles began their season with a win over Northeastern High School out of Kansas City. They lost their next games to Lincoln College Prep and Sumner High School from St. Louis.

KC Central was scheduled to face Harmon out of Kansas City, Kansas on December 13 and Southeast High School from Missouri side of Kansas City on December 17.

The first game will be at S&T against the state-ranked Lady Wildcats.

First Round Game 4- Lutheran North vs. Sedalia Smith-Cotton 7:30 p.m. at RHS

Lutheran North Lady Crusaders (1-3)

The Lady Crusaders are from the St. Louis area and went 1-1 in the Lutheran St. Charles Tournament. They defeated St. Louis Notre Dame and fell to Francis Howell Central in the semifinal round. The third place game against MICDS was postponed.

They fell to Incarnate Word Academy and Westminster Christian Academy on December 10 and 13.

They have a game on the December 20 against Grandview from Hillsboro and a home game against O’Fallon, Illinois on December 21.

They will face the Lady Tigers from Smith-Cotton at Rolla at 7:30 p.m.

Sedalia Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers (3-3)

The Lady Tigers are 3-3 on the year and have wins over Columbia Father Tolton, Kirksville and Warrensburg.

Their losses are to Marshall, Grain Valley and Columbia Hickman.

The Lady Tigers are scheduled to face the Waynesville Lady Tigers on December 17 and host Columbia Battle on December 21.

Their first game in the Rolla Tournament is against Lutheran North at Rolla set for 7:30 p.m.
