Two Phelps County teams earned a spot in the latest state ranking. In addition to that, two area Frisco League teams were also included. 

Rolla Lady Bulldogs Class 4 No. 3

The Rolla Lady Bulldogs are 4-1 on the season and are coming off a 62-45 win over state-ranked Hartville. Their only loss is against the top ranked and state runner-up Jefferson City Lady Jays.

The next games for Rolla will be at Kickapoo High School in the Stephanie Phillips Classic this weekend.

St. James Lady Tigers Class 3 (receiving votes)

The Lady Tigers fell just out of the top 10 from the last poll. They are still in the running as they are 2-1 and coming off a big 57-49 win over a good Blair Oaks team in Jefferson City.

The next game for the Lady Tigers was scheduled against Mountain View-Liberty on December 13 and up next is the Sullivan Tournament next week.

Licking Lady Wildcats Class 3 No. 3

The Licking Lady Wildcats were undefeated at 5-0 going into Thursday’s game against undefeated Jefferson City. They are coming off of a loss to the Class 5 top-ranked Lady Jays in the Stephanie Phillips Classic at Kickapoo High School in Springfield.

Licking will finish the week in the Stephanie Phillips Classic in Springfield. 

Richland Lady Bears Class 2 No. 8

The Richland Lady Bears are 3-2 on the year and are coming off a loss to Steeleville. The Lady Bears placed second in the conference tournament to the Licking Lady Wildcats for their other loss. They have wins over Iberia, Newburg and Osage. 

Richland will host Licking in a rematch for the two state-ranked teams in Richland on Monday.
