"Buy Missouri Week promotes products manufactured right here in Missouri,” Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe said.

For the third consecutive year, Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe will be promoting Buy Missouri Week throughout the state, Oct. 10 through Oct. 17. As designated by the legislature, Buy Missouri Week is designed to encourage citizens to purchase products made in Missouri in support of local producers and manufacturers.

”When we buy Missouri-made products, we support our friends, family and neighbors who work at and own these businesses. One of the most important lessons we have learned during this challenging time is that Missouri must be resilient and self-reliant, which is why it is important to continue promoting and growing the Buy Missouri program,” Kehoe said in a news release on Monday.

While in the senate, then Senator Kehoe, sponsored Senate Bill 891, which established the Buy Missouri program and Buy Missouri Week. The bill was signed into law in 2018.

“I encourage Missourian's to follow along during Buy Missouri Week as my office highlights the incredible stories of our great Missouri products, businesses and manufacturers,” Kehoe added.
