All public health services at the Phelps Maries County Health Department returned to curbside or by appointment only on Monday.
The main doors of the health department are locked to the public, and residents will have to call the phone number posted on the door to gain access to the building, the department said.
The health department will handle WIC appointments by phone, and residents who need to have their eWIC cards loaded with benefits will have to schedule an appointment. The department said only the participant or proxy should come to the appointment to limit the number of people entering the lobby.
The department will offer curbside service for birth and death certificates. Immunizations will be provided to residents who make an appointment or by curbside if staff are available.
The department said STD and pregnancy tests would continue to be offered by Tri-Rivers Family Planning, located at 1032 Kingshighway St., Suite B, in Rolla.
Health services for temporary pregnancy Medicaid will be done by appointment only.
