Three southwest Missourians were charged with first-degree murder after a woman was found shot to death over the weekend and a friend of hers was critically wounded in a separate shooting, authorities said Tuesday.

MOUNT VERNON— Three southwest Missourians were charged with first-degree murder after a woman was found shot to death over the weekend and a friend of hers was critically wounded in a separate shooting, authorities said Tuesday.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's office identified the woman who was found dead from a gunshot wound Sunday near Miller as Sarah Pasco, 27, of Miller, KYTV reported..

Her body was found after another woman told authorities she had been shot and her friend was killed in a separate location. That woman remains in critical condition, authorities said.

Andrew J. Cypret, 27, of Billings; and Lyle B. Delong, 23, and Diona Parks, 26, both of Stotts City, were charged with first-degree murder in Pasco's death. 

Lawrence County authorities said more charges are expected against the three suspects and two other people are being investigated in the case.
