Missouri Department of Transportation's general highway maintenance and construction work in Phelps and Pulaski counties as well as work in the mid-Missouri area that could impact commutes starting Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22.

Projects include lane closures that could cause traffic delays. Work will take place during the entire week, according to the department. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule.

Phelps County

Daylight Hours

— Route C between Route T and County Road 8490 – Pavement patching.

— Route EE between Route B and County Road 1280 – Culvert pipe replacement and ditch cleaning.

— Route JJ between Route 68 and County Road 4110 – Culvert pipe replacement.

Pulaski County

Daylight Hours

— Route U between Route 17 and Route 42 in Miller County – Resurfacing, culvert pipe installation and shoulder widening continues through November.

Boone County

Daylight/Overnight Hours

— Route HH over Hinkson Creek, East of Deer Valley Lane – Bridge deck rehabilitation is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 18. The bridge will be closed through early August.

— Route 163 (Providence Road) between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Business Loop 70 – ADA improvements and sidewalk upgrades. Walnut Street east of Route 163 will be closed the week of May 18th.

— Route V between Gordon Road and Tucker School Road – Culvert pipe replacement. The road will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20.

Callaway County

Daylight/Overnight Hours

— Route 63 over Cedar Creek, south of County Road 394 – Bridge deck rehabilitation in the southbound lanes was completed on May 12.

Camden County

Daylight Hours
— Route 54 between Nichols Road and Passover Road – Rock bluff clearing along the eastbound and westbound lanes.

Cole County

Daylight/Overnight Hours

— Route 54 between Stadium Boulevard and Route AA in Miller County – Pavement and safety improvements, including guardrail and guard cable installation, continue through November.

Overnight Hours

— Route 50 Outer Road between South Country Club Drive and West Truman Boulevard – Shoulder sealing. Occasional lane and associated ramp closures are likely each night.

Cooper County

Daylight/Overnight Hours

— Route 179 over the Petite Saline Creek – Bridge replacement. The bridge is closed through August.

— Route K over the Blackwater River, south of Route DD – Bridge deck rehabilitation is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 18. The bridge will be closed through late August.

Crawford County

Daylight/Overnight Hours
— Route 49 over Dry Fork Creek, south of Route 19 – Bridge replacement continues through July. Temporary traffic signals are in place to direct traffic through the work area.

— Route CC over Brush Creek, east of Simpson Road – Bridge replacement continues through late May. The road is closed.

— Route 19 between Interstate 44 and Wildcat Pride Drive – Pavement marking.

— Route 19 between Route 8 and Route TT in Dent County – Brush cutting.

— Route 49 between Setzer Road and the Iron County line – Pavement patching.

— Route J between Route C and Route H in Franklin County – Pavement patching.

— Route N between Route J and Route 185 in Washington County – Culvert pipe replacement.

— Route TT between Route 8 and Liberty Road – Edge rut repair.
