Sullivan Bank plans to re-open lobbies at all locations except Sullivan Downtown in May.

President and CEO of Sullivan Bank Michael Hoffman said unless the situation changes dramatically plans are underway to open all of Sullivan Bank’s lobbies on May 18 and open the lobby at Sullivan Downtown on June 1.

Hoffman said the bank plans to log visitors so that contact tracing can easily be done if a positive COVID-19 case should arise.

For now, Sullivan Bank requests customers take their temperature as they enter the building. Digital thermometers will be available for customers to use.

Customers are welcome to wear a mask into the building. Sullivan Bank asks that customers remove it as they enter so that sufficient identification can be made and then customers can put their masks back on as they approach the employees.

Hoffman said there will be clear shields added to high traffic lobby areas in order to protect both customers and employees.

The bank requests social distancing by all visitors, and there will be reminders in Sullivan Bank’s lobbies.

Sullivan Bank still has mobile, drive-thru and online banking options, which the bank urges customers to continue to utilize.

“Please know that our employees have been well-trained on best practices for cleanliness and our cleaning staff is cleaning more frequently and with deeper cleansing methods. With all that being said, this is an unseen enemy we are fighting and we encourage you to use the lobbies on an as-needed basis,” Hoffman said.
