Authorities say a man and woman were detained in connection with law enforcement locating fentanyl, a firearm and various items of paraphernalia used in the distribution of illegal narcotics at a residence in Owensville.

The Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office said 31-year-old Johnathan Ray Herrington and 40-year-old Stephanie Lively were detained after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of S. First St. in Owensville. During a search, law enforcement said they located methamphetamine, fentanyl, a firearm and multiple items of paraphernalia associated with the use and distribution of illegal narcotics.

The sheriff’s office said in a release on Tuesday that Herrington and Lively have been released pending the issuance of warrants by the Gasconade County Prosecuting Attorney.

The Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office, Owensville Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group also located marijuana and prescription opioids when executing the search warrant on Dec. 22.
