Nominees have been selected for members to serve on the University of Missouri Extension Council of Phelps County.
Citizens of voting age in Phelps County, pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 262-577, R.S. Mo. 1969, will have the opportunity to vote and elect members of the University of Missouri Extension Council of Phelps County the week of Jan. 22-25.
Citizens can vote in the University of Missouri Extension Office located in the Phelps County Courthouse in Rolla, Phelps County Clerk’s Office at the Phelps County Courthouse, Newburg City Hall and the St. James City Hall.
There is also an option to vote online for the candidates running in your district.
Online voting will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 and will conclude at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.
The online ballot can be found on the extension's website at extension2.missouri.edu/phelps, then choose "county council" on the left-hand side of the page.
Elected and appointed members of the University of Missouri Extension Council of Phelps County will guide and direct extension work within the county. There will be five two-year terms to fill in 2020. The nominees for the open positions are as follows:

Additional nominations may be made by petition of 25 or more qualified voters, filed with the Council within 20 days after the publication of this notice of election.
