The Gasconade County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 23-year-old male currently wanted for probation and parole violation and is also the twin brother of a man recently arrested on felony charges after police said he had fled from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Gasconade County police said they are searching for 23-year-old Steven N. Vinson, the twin brother of Shay M. Vinson, who authorities arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 20 after a multi-county search.
Vinson is 6 feet tall, has brown hair, blue eyes and lives in Bland, the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office said in a release on Saturday.
The Gasconade County Sheriff's Office said additional felony charges might be filed against Vinson, who is known to frequent the Owensville area.
The sheriff's office is advising community members not to approach Vinson if he is spotted, and to contact Central Dispatch at (573) 437-7770 or notify local law enforcement.
Vinson may be driving a maroon 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, the sheriff’s office said.
Court documents show two felony charges and two misdemeanor charges have been filed against Vinson’s brother, Shay, whose bond has been set at $45,000 cash or surety.
Shay was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 20 after Gasconade County police said Shay fled from authorities, crashed his vehicle in Maries County, left two female occupants behind inside the car and was able to elude capture. Law enforcement found a firearm and ammunition inside the car Shay was driving, the Gasconade County Sheriff's Office said.
