All blood reserves are now at low levels.

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is currently experiencing a shortage of all blood types — donors are urged to visit a CBCO donor center or blood drive and give blood immediately to ensure that adequate reserve levels are maintained.

Participants at CBCO blood drives through Aug. 31 will receive a free “Super Hero” t-shirt; a colorful reminder of the gift that is indispensable for local patients.

CBCO is the sole local provider of blood for patients at more than 40 area hospitals in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas and southeast Kansas. Sick and injured hospital patients rely on CBCO donors to provide the lifesaving blood they need.

The community can help by giving blood at these upcoming blood drives in Rolla at Missouri University of Science and Technology's Havener Center:
