The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold local public hearings in June in a natural gas rate case filed by Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri.
The local public hearing schedule appears below:
June 10—Cape Girardeau. Osage Community Centre, Room 4AB, 1625 N. Kingshighway. A PSC Staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6 p.m. with the Commission receiving public comments starting at 6:30 p.m.
June 11—Rolla. Rolla City Hall, Council Chambers, 901 N. Elm Street. A PSC Staff public information, question and answer session starts at noon with the Commission receiving public comments starting at 12:30 p.m.
June 12—Wentzville. Wentzville City Hall, Board Meeting Room, 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd. A PSC Staff public information, question and answer session starts at noon with the Commission receiving public comments starting at 12:30 p.m.
June 12—Columbia. Boone County Commission, Commission Chambers, 801 E. Walnut. A PSC Staff public information, question and answer session starts at 6 p.m. with the Commission receiving public comments starting at 6:30 p.m.
These local public hearings will be held in facilities that meet the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. On December 3, 2018, Ameren Missouri filed a natural gas rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual natural gas revenues by approximately $4.26 million. According to Ameren Missouri’s filing, the average annual change in natural gas rates for residential customers will be approximately $26 a year.
Ameren Missouri provides natural gas service to approximately 131,000 customers in 25 Missouri counties: Audrain, Bollinger, Boone, Butler, Callaway, Cape Girardeau, Cole, Cooper, Dent, Gasconade, Howard, Lincoln, Miller, Moniteau, Montgomery, Morgan, Phelps, Pike, Ralls, Randolph, St. Charles, Saline, Scott, Stoddard and Warren.
