The St. James golf team took part in the Four Rivers Conference meet on Tuesday, April 23. The Tigers had a great showing with two All-Conference players and a fourth place finish as a team.

The top Tiger golfer on the day was Micah Bartle. He earned first team All-Conference honors after shooting his season low of 83. Bartle had seven pars and a birdie on his way to a seventh place finish overall. Isaac Helterbrand also earned recognition, earning second team All-Conference honors after shooting a 97 with two pars on the day. 

Other finishes for St. James included a 106 from Hannah Shasserre and 107 from both Harrison Janes and Jacob Rinehart. 

As a team, St. James shot 393, which put them in fourth place overall. Sullivan won with a team score of 355, while Union finished in second with 369 and St. Clair finished in third with a 373. 

"It was a pretty good day for the team and some individuals," said head coach Kevin Conway on the conference meet. We are trending in the right direction before we enter into District play. Micah played really well! He had his best round of the year. Isaac had a decent day. Hannah, Harrison and Jacob all keep improving, so I'm looking forward to the District round." 

The Tigers will play in their District Tournament on Monday, April 29 at Mountain Grove.
