The Rolla soccer team made the trip down to Lebanon for an Ozark Conference matchup on Tuesday, April 23. The Lady Bulldogs were able to outlast some rough weather to come out with a 2-0 conference win and push their record to 7-6-3 and 5-1 within the conference.

Elsa Wise scored the lone goal of the first half, which lasted much longer than 40 minutes. With 16 minutes left to play in the half, the game went into a lightning delay. That delay lasted about an hour, before Rolla carried a 1-0 lead into the half.

The Lady Bulldogs put the game away with another goal in the second half. Carlee McCormack, fresh off signing to play college soccer at Webster on Monday, scored her second goal of the season off a nice assist from Eliana Stanislawski. Eden Potter finished off a shutout in goal, Rolla's ninth of the season, as Rolla beat Lebanon 2-0.

Rolla dominated the game, taking 22 shots to just three from Lebanon. Rolla also had six corners, while Lebanon had two.

The JV won 2-0 to advance their record to 6-3-3 on the season.

"Lebanon was a very physical team and we are very short handed right now," said head coach Mike Howard after the game. "I hope we get at least two back for the game Friday against Webster Groves."

Rolla will host Webster Groves on Friday, before a pair of Ozark Conference games against Glendale and Kickapoo next week.
