The St. James golf team took part in the Helias Invitational on Monday, April 15. The tournament was split into big and small schools, with the Tigers finishing in eighth amongst the small schools.

St. James' top golfer on the day was Isaac Helterbrand. He was consistent throughout his round with a 46 on the front nine and a 47 on the back nine to finish with a 93. Micah Bartle was just a few strokes behind, shooting a +25 97. Harrison Janes shot a 109 for the Tigers, while Hannah Shasserre shot a 113 and Brockton West shot a 126.

The Tigers finished with a team score of 412, which put them in eighth amongst the small schools. Helias' JV won that grouping with a team score of 332, while Battle finished second with 352 and MMA finished in third with a 376. Pembroke Hills won the big school pool with a team score of 308.

Next up for St. James is a home dual with Union on Wednesday.
