The St. James golf team hosted the annual Tiger Classic on Wednesday, April 10. The Tigers had a great showing, earning a fourth place finish as a team, as well as having the individual fourth place finisher.

Micah Bartle had an excellent round for the Tigers, finishing in fourth place overall to earn a medal. The highlight of his round came on the par-five 11th hole, where he eagled with a three. He also parred five times on the day. Overall, Bartle finished his round with an 85.

St. James' next best round came from Isaac Helterbrand, who fell three strokes short of a medal with a 97 on the day. He finished in 11th place for the Tigers. Hannah Shasserre finished in a tie for 15th by shooting 102. She had two pars on the day on a pair of par threes. Brockton West was a few strokes behind, finishing in a tie for 20th by shooting 105. Harrison Jones rounded things out with a 31st place finish by shooting 120.

The individual champion was Herman's Thomas Henson, who shot a -4 68 on the day. Sullivan finished in first place on the day with a team score of 372. St. Clair finished second with a 376, Union finished third with a 381 and St. James took fourth with a 384.
