The St. James girls soccer team made the trip down to Crocker on Friday, Mar. 22. The Lady Tigers got behind early and couldn't recover in an 8-0 loss.
Crocker came out swinging, scoring four goals in the first half, before tacking on four more in the second. St. James couldn't find their offense all night long, as they were shutout 8-0.
Despite the lopsided loss, assistant coach Beau Moreland thinks his girls will be able to learn from this game and be able to take the next step when they come back from Spring Break.
"Crocker is a good learning experience for us as a young team," said Moreland. "They are a club team that has developed through their feeder programs and that's what we need to do in St. James. They do everything very well and it showed us out areas that need improvement."
St. James is now off for a week for Spring Break. They'll return with a matchup against Belle on Tuesday, April 2.
