On Sun., Nov. 11 at 2:01 a.m., Ford was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-44. The 1995 Ford truck Ford was driving struck the 2019 Kenworth tractor trailer unit Navjeet Singh, 24, of Jamaica, New York, was driving.

A Fort Leonard Wood driver was involved in an accident on I-44 and suffered serious injuries. He was later arrested for driving while intoxicated.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, Brian Ford, 39, of Fort Leonard Wood, has serious injuries after an accident in Laclede County.

On Sun., Nov. 11 at 2:01 a.m., Ford was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-44. The 1995 Ford truck Ford was driving struck the 2019 Kenworth tractor trailer unit Navjeet Singh, 24, of Jamaica, New York, was driving. The two vehicles struck head on and the Ford came to rest in the road. Ford was transported by Pulaski County ambulance to the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. Navjeet did not have injuries.

Ford was later arrested at 2:40 a.m. for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash, according to the MSHP arrest report.

The Ford truck was totaled and the tractor trailer unit had extensive damage.
