Enjoy the annual Newburg Day celebration with festivities on Friday and Sunday, featuring food, music and more throughout the weekend.

Today, from 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. you can take part in the all-you-can-eat fish fry at The Red Shed, located on 169 Truman Street in Doolittle, while listening to the music of The Liberty Bells and Harvesting Souls. The fish fry costs $10. 


On Saturday, there will be a craft show from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The annual parade will start at 10:00 a.m., with the car and motorcycle show beginning at 11:00 p.m.. Other activities include the Ozark Spirit Cloggers and Native American Dancers, along with the silent auction. There will be a fireworks display at 10:00 p.m..


Live music will take place at the gazebo throughout the day. 


There will also be tours at the Newburg Children’s Museum, open Mic at the Lyric Live Theatre and a kids area on 3rd Street, which will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Several churches will also be providing sandwiches and water. The Abundant Blessings Ministry will be having a cooling center from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for those who need a break from the heat.
