In a press release, Wednesday evening, Pulaski County Sheriff's Department announced that Richard Taylor, wanted on murder charges in Pulaski County, had been captured in Chicago.

According to the press release PCSD had been "in close contact" with Federal Marshals during "the last 24 hours," thanks to a lead that Taylor was located on the east side of Chicago.

"Today at 11:53am, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department was notified by Federal Marshalls that Richard “Romel” Taylor was in custody," the press release stated.

Taylor has been charged with two counts of Murder in the First Degree and Armed Criminal Action for the deaths of Sherry Gann and Johnathan Graham. He has also been charged with two additional counts of Armed Criminal Action as well as two counts of Assault in the First Degree for wounding Cassandra Gann and David Reeves. All the charges are Class A felonies.

The charges stem from the quadruple shooting in Pulaski County in January. Taylor is also being held on a Federal parole violation for distribution, according to PCSD.
