The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) said, in a press release Thursday afternoon, that they are searching for Timothy Colwell, 29, of Crocker. Later that day, they announced, via Facebook, that they had located Colwell in Iberia.

“Colwell is wanted in Pulaski County for Felony Fleeing, Resisting Arrest, Motor Vehicle Theft, and Burglary,” the press release from PCSD said.

Colwell is described as dark haired with tattoos on his neck and chest, last seen in the Crocker area of U highway, wearing blue jeans and a black shirt with white and gold lettering on it.

PCSD reported that Colwell was traveling on foot, in an unknown direction, but may be headed to the Miller County area.

PCSD requests that, if any contact is made with Colwell or anyone has any information on his whereabouts to contact PCSD at 573-774-6196.

A search on Colwell revealed that he is currently charged with third degree assault, charges that were filed in September of 2017. The trial for the case is currently set to begin in Judge John Beger’s court in Pulaski County on Wednesday, February 21. The Daily Guide will continue to follow this story as it develops.
