Christopher Alan Knock, 38, a Jerome man, has been charged with kidnapping after allegedly not allowing a female victim to leave her residence this past Sunday.

Christopher Alan Knock, 38, a Jerome man, has been charged with kidnapping after allegedly not allowing a female  victim to leave her residence this past Sunday.
According to the probable cause statement, an officer responded to a county residence where he made contact with the victim. She stated Knock forced her into a chair and yelled at her, telling her she was not allowed to leave the residence.
In the Probable Cause statement, the victim stated that at approximately 10 p.m. prior to the incident, Knock was told he needed to leave the residence after law enforcement officials arrived in response to a domestic violence call.
Knock returned at approximately 2 a.m., officers reported in the probable cause statement, and pinned the victim to a bed. She stated in her interview with the officer that Knock began threatening her life as the well as the lives of her friends and family.
The victim reported that Knock demanded she sit in a chair in the living room. According to the probable cause statement, the victim sat in the chair from 2 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. while being told she was not allowed to leave and being slapped in the face.
The victim reported escaping while Knock was not paying attention, taking advantage of the situation and running to a friend’s residence. The victim stated she informed the friend of what happened and asked for a ride.
The probable cause statement says Knock blocked their vehicle with his own as they were leaving. The statement says Knock then left the area and returned to his residence.
Knock was arrested and given a bond of $75,000. His case review is currently scheduled for June 13.
