A St. Louis driver was injured Nov. 12 after striking a pedestrian with the vehicle’s side mirror on North U.S. Highway 63 in Rolla.

A St. Louis driver was injured Nov. 12 after striking a pedestrian with the vehicle’s side mirror on North U.S. Highway 63 in Rolla.
According to an incident report by the Rolla Police Department, Lyndon R. Allen, 21, of Rolla, was crossing the highway in the 1700 block of Highway 63 in the middle lane when he was struck by a passenger side mirror on a 2006 Dodge owned by Garda CL Southeast Inc. and operated by Chapel Haines, 27, of St. Louis.
The Dodge was traveling southbound, attempting to turn left.
Haines was transported by an ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
Haines complained of pain to his nose, elbow and left leg.
