Bobbi Bash named one of the Top 50 Missourians You Should Know

A prominent Realtor in the lake area has been named one of the Top 50 Missourians You Should Know by Kansas City’s business magazine, Ingrams.

Bobbi Bash, owner of Bobbi Bash Realty, is among an elite group of business people from across the state to be included in this year’s class. Others included CPAs, doctors, attorneys, farmers, entrepreneurs, musicians and

“I’m overwhelmed,” Bash said. “When I was notified, I thought 'oh my gosh, are you kidding me?'”

The Ingrams article said the 50 individuals were selected “because their accomplishments have made Missouri a better place to live, work and do business; because they are at the fore of identifying the challenges the state faces; because they are in the front lines, doggedly pursing the opportunities ahead of us; and because their example should inspire all of us, characters as they may be.”

In the magazine’s narrative about Bash, she said that after her last child went to college, she headed to the lake and decided real estate might be a professional to pursue.

According to the article, Bash was known in Kansas City for her philanthropic endeavors, including creation of the Symphony Ball.

She brought that spirit to the lake where last year she spearheaded “Pink Wig Week” to focus on breast cancer research and treatment. An estimated 400 pink wigs were spotted around the lake because of her efforts. Bash is a 12-year breast cancer survivor and is a champion for the cause at the lake.
