Ron F. Peterein was sentenced to 27 months in prison on federal methamphetamine charges, Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap announced today.
Peterein, 45, of Festus, MO, pleaded guilty on August 7, 2009, to one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, between April 22 and 23, 2007. He appeared today for sentencing before United States District Judge Rodney W. Sippel.
Reap commended the work on the case by the Jefferson Municipal Enforcement Group, and Special Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer Winfield, who is handling the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
