Patching, concrete repair, milling and paving are on the agenda for road crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

MoDOT will perform patching on Interstate 44, Phelps County, eastbound from Route J to the Arlington Campground, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17.  Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Patching restores rideablility of the roadway surface. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on the roadway. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when moving past the work zone.

Weather permitting, MoDOT will be closing the entrance of Hypoint Blvd. in Rolla, to perform concrete repairs, on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Truck traffic will be detoured north on Route V to Hypoint North, then back to Hypoint Blvd. Detour signs will be in place to direct traffic. The entrance is expected to reopen to traffic by 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, weather permitting.

Concrete replacement and repair work is key to maintaining a smooth pavement surface. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on the roadway. Following the concrete repair, drying time is necessary and the lane will remain closed until this process has occurred. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when moving through the work zone.

MoDOT will perform milling on Route 8, Phelps County, on the bridge located over Dry Fork Creek, beginning Tuesday, Nov.  17.  Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Milling removes excess material from cracks and joints, decreasing the likelihood of pavement deterioration. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on the roadway. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when moving through the work zone.

MoDOT will perform pull paving on Route E, Dent County, from Route K to Route 119, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17.  Weather permitting, crews and equipment will be on the roadway between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Paving over the roadway surface restores a smooth ride. While performing this function, crews and equipment are located directly on the roadway. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when moving past the work zone.
