Woman sentenced on federal meth related charges

Shannon Sims was sentenced to 84 months in prison on federal methamphetamine charges, Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap announced today.

Shannon Sims, 28, High Ridge, MO, pleaded guilty May 29 to one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine, and appeared today for sentencing before United States District Judge Jean C. Hamilton.

Reap commended the work on the case by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and the Jefferson Municipal Enforcement Group.
