Four People Plead Guilty To Federal Methamphetamine Conspiracy Charges

Four Franklin County people have entered guilty pleas within the last week to federal methamphetamine conspiracy charges, United States Attorney Richard G. Callahan announced today.

Seth Allen Durbin, 21, Bland, MO, pleaded guilty January 25, set for sentencing April 29;

John Randall Gray, 19, Bland, MO, pleaded January 21, set for sentencing April 21;

Tommy Lee Wilcox, 42, Bland, MO, pleaded guilty January 14, set for sentencing April 13; Amber Nicole Fieser, 19, pleaded guilty January 22, set for sentencing April 28, 2010.

Each defendant pleaded guilty to one felony count each of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine. On various occasions between June 2007 and February 2009, these defendants were involved in a conspiracy to purchase pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine in Franklin County.

Each count carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.

Callahan commended the work on the case by the Franklin County Narcotics Drug Task Force, and Assistant United States Attorney Tiffany Becker, who is handling the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
