Sixty-six adults and 28 kids turned out for The Centre’s Firecracker 5K Run & Kid’s Race, held Saturday morning in Ber Juan Park.
Phelps County Bank sponsored the Kids Race. Ozarks Coca Cola Bottling Company was also a sponsor of this family event.
This year’s race featured several members of the Rolla FitGirls Club who were competing in their first 5K race. The final results reflect the times of several adults who ran along with them. 
The youngest runner to complete the one-mile Kid’s Race course was two-year old Caleb Young. Audrey Spencer and Benjamin Ballard, who are both four years old, also ran in the Kids Race. This was the third Kids Race for both of these young runners.
