The St. James High School cross country teams competed in the Cuba Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
For the St. James varsity boys Clinton Warnol was 26th overall at 18:54 while Brandon Ragland was 30th at 19:08, Caleb Martensen 36th at 19:30 and Derrick Perona 45th at 20:46.
In the boys’ junior varsity race Ben Wood was eighth at 20:52 and Brad Daniels was ninth at 20:53.
In the girls’ varsity race St. James’ Emily Perona was 11th overall at 22:36.
St. James won the boys’ middle school team title. For the Tiger middle school squad Colin Hayes was seventh overall at 10:55, Levi Auxier was eighth at 11:01, Austin Kochis 10th at 11:08, Scott Kochis 12th at 11:15, Daniel Davis 21st at 11:50, Cody Birkner 22nd at 11:52, Sean Hunter 26th at 12:11, Gerry Mitchell 33rd at 12:41, Andrew Huggins 35th at 12:53, Addison Conway 42nd at 13:30, Taylor Busche 43rd at 13:33 and James Rock 48th at 13:55.
For the St. James girls’ middle school squad Paige Light was 23rd overall at 14:09.
The Tigers are scheduled to run today at Owensville.
