The Rolla High School wrestling team split a triangular varsity meet on Thursday at Springfield Hillcrest.
Against the No. 4-ranked team in Missouri Class 3, Neosho, the RHS Bulldogs had no success, falling 71-0. And against Ozark Conference rival Hillcrest, Rolla posted a 51-22 victory.
Contested winners for the Bulldogs against the Hillcrest Hornets included Joe Leach in the 106-pound weight class, Sam Leach at 126, Beket Edwards at 152, Jarek Nash at 160, Austyn Harmount at 170 and Derek Spurgeon at heavyweight.
In a junior varsity dual meet against Hillcrest Rolla posted a 39-24 victory.
Contested winners for the RHS jayvee squad against Hillcrest were Justin Garcia at 120, Sam Leach at 132, Brendan Wuest at 220 and Dakota Cartwright at heavyweight.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to compete in a dual meet at Camdenton tonight, starting at 6 p.m. The Ozark Conference Meet is scheduled to be held Saturday at Waynesville.
