Rolla eighth-grade boys win in first round

The Rolla Junior High School eighth-grade boys’ basketball team defeated Camdenton 56-33 Monday in the first round of the Rolla Invitational at the Rolla Junior High gym.

Rolla, now 10-4, will play Jefferson City Lewis & Clark at 7:45 p.m. today in the tournament semifinals.

Logan Short netted 15 points to pace the Bullpups while Sam Marshall added 10.

Short 15, Marshall 10, Brown 5, Voight 5, Hoffman 4, Saladino 4, Mills 3, Benson 3, Mjaaseth 3, Wands 2, Whitson 2.
