District coaches gave the Rolla High School baseball team a reason to play with a chip on its shoulder.
Despite a 17-3 record, including a 3-1 mark against district opponents, the Bulldogs were seeded fourth for the Class 4, District 11 Tournament to be held May 12-15 in Lebanon.
Ozark was awarded the top seed, Lebanon No. 2, Glendale No. 3, Rolla No. 4, Hillcrest No. 5, and Waynesville No. 6.
Rolla will play Hillcrest in the first round on Monday, May 12 at 4:30 p.m. Glendale will meet Waynesville in the nightcap at 7 p.m. Ozark and Lebanon get first-round byes.
Ozark will play the winner of the Rolla-Hillcrest game on Tuesday, May 13 at 4:30 p.m. Glendale will face the winner of the Glendale-Waynesville game at 7 p.m.
The championship game will be held on Thursday, May 15 at 6 p.m.
