Newburg’s Nash wins district

Newburg, Mo. -
In addition to district medalist J.D. Nash, of Newburg, the Newburg Wolves will also be sending three more of its golf team members to the state tournament May 12 and 13 at Silo Ridge Golf Course in Bolivar.
Nash was medalist in the April 30 district (Class 1, District 4) tournament held at Piney Valley Golf Course at Fort Leonard Wood. Nash shot a one-under-par 71.
Also qualifying for finishing in the top ten at district, Newburg golfers Cameron Smith (94), Drew DeLong (97) and Shane Lewis (100) made the grade to go to state.
