Rolla coed softball first half ends

Blackjack Roofing, Moreland Chiropractic and Missouri Cellular were the first-half winners of the adult slow-pitch Rolla Coed Softball League, which concluded the first half on Thursday at Ber Juan Park.

Blackjack Roofing won the Orange Division title with a 6-1 record while Beaver Slap, Cage Championships and Beverage Mart were all 5-2, Fidelity 3-4, Matt’s Steakhouse 2-5 and Dairy Queen and Wisdom Roofing both 1-6.

Moreland Chiropractic captured withe Blue Division first half with a perfect 7-0 mark while D. Brook’s and Martin Electric were both 5-2, R’Not 4-3, The Don’s and Wave Internet both 3-4, ATA Construction 1-6 and Stephens Steakhouse 0-7.

Missouri Cellular took the Green Division first-half title with a 6-1 mark while Tater Patch was 5-2, Aging Made Easy 4-3, Lone Oak Building and Staples were both 3-4, US Bank 2-5 and High Tech Roofing 1-6.

Green Division

US Bank 7, Aging Made Easy 0: (Forfeit).

High Tech Roofing 9, Staples 8: Tim Conger scored what proved to be the winning run in the seventh inning for High-Tech Roofing. Conger had three hits and scored two runs for the winners while Grant Smith had two hits and scored a run. Mariah Crowley had two hits and scored twice for Staples.

Staples 10, Lone Oak Buildings 2: Crowley had two hits and scored twice as Staples beat Lone Oak Buildings. Josh Lepich and Jesse Lepich each scored runs for Lone Oak Buildings.

Missouri Cellular 16, Tater Patch 11: Larry Chrisco each had two hits and scored three runs while Eric Johns had three hits and scored twice and Kristi Curtis had three hits as Missouri Cellular beat Tater Patch. Shay Ewing and Alan Martia each had two hits and scored twice for Tater Patch.

Orange Division

Beaver Slap 14, Cage Championships 4: Brian Hayes had a triple, two doubles, a single and scored three runs while Mike Ransom had two doubles, a single and scored three times and Mike Montgomery had a triple, double, single and scored twice as Beaver Slap clipped Cage Championships. Mike Sparks had a triple and two singles and Jason Frost had two hits for Cage Championships.

Blackjack Roofing 15, Dairy Queen 4: Randy Gresham belted a two-run homer, a double, a single and scored three times while Bryon Poe had a two-run homer, two singles and scored twice and Scott Rigsby had a triple, double and single as Blackjack Roofing beat Dairy Queen. Sylvester Furse had a double and single and Chris Cremer had a two-run single for Dairy Queen.

Fidelity 7, Matt’s Steakhouse 6: Jeremy Shelton’s single drove in Willis Asberry with the winning run in the eighth inning as Fidelity clipped Matt’s Steakhouse. Jason Ousley had a triple, two doubles and scored twice while Berry Perkins homered, doubled and singled and Shelton had three hits for the winners. Matt Sanders had three hits and scored twice while Robin Pickup had two hits and scored twice for Matt’s Steakhouse.

Blue Division

Moreland Chiropractic 15, ATA Construction 2: John Kean was 4-for-4 with two doubles and scored three times while David Chirban had a triple, two doubles and scored twice and Bill Gunn had three hits and scored twice as Moreland Chiropractic topped ATA Construction. Charliegh Brookshire and Caleb Ashworth scored runs for ATA Construction.

Wave Internet 10, D. Brooke’s 9: Cory Ace’s run capped a six-run seventh inning which gave Wave Internet a win over D. Brooke’s. Zack Robinson had a triple, two singles and scored twice for the winners while Paul Hanson tripled and scored two runs. Darren Voight belted two homers, a double, a single and scored three runs while Jarred Jordan had two doubles and a single while scoring three times for D. Brooke’s.

Moreland Chiropractic 7, The Don’s 4: Tony Roark had three doubles and scored twice while Angie Gunn had two doubles and scored two runs and John Kean scored twice as Moreland Chiropractic got past The Don’s. Matt McCray and Cody Woody each had two hits and scored a run for The Don’s.

The Don’s 4, D. Brooke’s 3: Darren Voight scored what proved to be the winning run in the seventh inning as D. Brooke’s clipped The Don’s. Voight had three hits and scored twice while Jared Jordan had two hits for the winners. Lanny Nash had a homer and Cody Woody tripled and scored for The Don’s.

Martin Electric 20, Stephen’s Steakhouse 7: Charlie Shivers had a triple, two singles and scored three runs while Chad Giesey had two triples, a double and scored three runs and Dave Harris had three hits and scored three times as Martin Electric beat Stephen’s Steakhouse. Scott Stroff had three hits and scored two runs while Sara Hamric had three hits and Dan Schmit had a double, single and scored twice for Stephen’s Steakhouse.

Martin Electric 17, R’Not 5: Dave Gilborn had a homer, three singles and scored three runs while Giesey had a homer, single and scored three runs and Lisa Robinson and Dave Harris each had three hits and scored twice as Martin Electric beat R’Not. Lem Moore had a double and scored twice for R’Not.

ATA Construction 21, Stephen’s Steakhouse 15: Chris Ehret had four hits and scored four runs while Jesse Hunter and Brian Baker each had three hits and scored three runs as ATA Construction topped Stephens Steakhouse. Sara Hamric and Troy Myers each had three hits and scored three runs and Scott Stroff had four hits for Stephen’s Steakhouse.

R’Not 10, Wave Internet 5: Michael Beard had two doubles, a single and scored three runs while Lem Moore had three hits and Tony Morgica had a triple and two singles as R’Not topped Wave Internet. Paul Hanson had a homer, double and scored twice while Cory Ace had two doubles for Wave Internet.
