Rolla Girls' Fast-Pitch U-16 League results

The Rolla Lady Bulldogs and Cuba played to a 2-2 tie in the first week of the Rolla Girls’ Fast-Pitch U-16 League on Wednesday, June 17 on Ber Juan Park’s North Field.

The Rolla-Cuba game was stopped in the top of the sixth inning due to the time limit.

Rolla got solo runs in the first and third innings, as Shakira Gonzales singled and scored a run in the first inning and Heather Jones reached on a fielder’s choice and scored in the third.
Maegen Shults started the game on the mound and Andrea Zalis finished up for Rolla.
Cuba scored both of its runs in the fifth inning.

Jones had two hits to lead the Rolla offense.

The two teams met again in a second game on June 17 and a group of younger Lady Bulldogs fell to Cuba 5-2.

Logan Reese was the starting pitcher for the younger Rolla squad. Offensively Reese singled and scored a run.

In other games from June 17, it was Lebanon 14, Sullivan 0; Lebanon 7, Sullivan 6; Sullivan No. 1 8, Sullivan No. 2 5; Sullivan No. 1 10, Sullivan No. 2 0; Crocker 2, Waynesville 1, and Crocker 6, Waynesville 3.
