Rolla, Mo. -

‘Friends’ glad
for new courts
To the City Council, Mayor William Jenks III, City Administrator John Butz, Rolla City Parks and Recreation’s Ken Kwantes and Kristy Rich,

We want to extend our appreciation for the newly resurfaced tennis courts at BerJuan Park.
As members of a group of tennis enthusiasts, we commend you on your efforts to maintain our beautiful tennis complex, the only place to play tennis in our city.

We strive to have an on-going partnership with the city’s United States Tennis Association affiliation, the Optimist Youth Tennis Program, and foster enjoyment in tennis with anyone who might be interested.

We are very proud of our six tennis courts and we appreciate your efforts to maintain them.
Thanks so much for caring about our tennis recreational opportunities.

— Friends of Tennis

Band Boosters
are grateful
The Rolla Band Boosters and the members of the Rolla High School Marching Bulldog Brigade wish to thank the Rolla community for its gracious support of our carwash fundraisers this year.
The Marching Bulldog Brigade will be performing at all of the RHS home football games and at various marching competitions including our own Route 66 Marching Festival on Oct. 24.  We hope to see you there.

— Brian Merriman,
Sandy Smith
