“Anybody want to go hunting?” — Dick Cheney
For a “cool dude” candidate, our President has amazingly poor governing instincts. He’s so toxic, even his dog won’t lick him. Previously lock-stepped Democrats are blasting Dear Leader in person and on camera.

The earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010, devastated the already struggling island nation. Like most people of the world, the heartfelt thoughts and prayers of the NAACP go out to all those living in Haiti and with family, friends or loved ones who may have been in Haiti when the earthquake struck.

Like the water doused Wicked Witch of the West, our incredibly shrinking Dear Leader was in perfect form last night. Chin held high, Mussoliniesque, arrogant, sashaying in his TOTUS (Just in case you’re from Normal, Il that means Teleprompter of the United States) cocoon; Barack Hussein Obama was proudly defiant--of the American people. He ignored the lessons of Bill Clinton’s mea culpa and told America he still wanted to impose upon them the very things they were lividly against.

The Rolla Area NAACP wishes you a Merry Christmas-and a Happy Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is an African-American and Pan-African holiday that celebrates family, community, and culture. Kwanzaa is celebrated for seven days between December 26 through January 1. The origins of Kwanzaa are in the first harvest celebrations of Africa. The name Kwanzaa is derived from the Swahili phrase "matunda ya kwanza" which means "first fruits." The first fruits celebrations are recorded in African history as far back as ancient Egypt and Nubia. The 2009 Kwanzaa theme is "Principles and Practices of Kwanzaa: Repairing and Renewing the World."

Sometime during the next few years, Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama, will descend from his pedestal in heaven to grant us worthless peons a press conference. Those in media, who will spend that time groveling before the Great Won, need not read further.

The U.S. Senate is now moving forward with its version of health care reform. It is likely to take the entire month of December to debate and amend the underlying bill (Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has said that he hopes to have final passage by Christmas). The underlying bill, H.R. 3590, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, is a compromise of the bills that were produced by the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee and the Senate Finance Committee.

At the far end of the tunnel of kvetching at the incompetent lunacy of the Obama Administration and his Congressional Dem flunkies, there are a few rays of bright light barely glistening at our pupils. Obama’s promised hope and change have been totaled by ugly reality, revealing the full vacuity of his liberal hollowness.

Let’s cut to the quick, shall we? President Barack Hussein Obama is more concerned with his universal legacy as a Socialist icon than the well-being and safety of the USA.

We would like to give you an update on the situation involving Walter Currie Jr. In September 2009, we sent information to some of our supporters about this situation.

Our President has once again jetted off on AF1. Yep, he’s back in Copenhagen to save the world from those evil carbon footprints like the giant ones emitting from his 747.
The health-care debate is at an impasse, at least for a short time, and can wait until he saves the world—again (yaaaaaaaaaaawn!)

There has not been a more urgent time in the last 50 years to reassess the federal role in making sure the American economy is and remains strong.

It should be pretty obvious that President Obama and his Dem-run Congress want no part of what most of America is screaming for: A free republic with a smaller government footprint not the enormous one currently stomping anyone in its path.
According to Rasmussen polls, 71 percent of voters say they are angry at the government and 46 percent describe themselves as very angry.

“Calls to buy American used to be a staple of keeping our U.S. manufacturing sector strong, but you don’t hear those calls so much anymore. As we work to build the part of our American economy that makes things, we have another unique opportunity to buy American: energy.

U.S. Senator Kit Bond, Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, urged the Administration to reverse their decision to try the foreign 9-11 terrorists in civilian courts blocks from Ground Zero in New York City instead of using the appropriate military commission process. Speaking on the Senate floor, Bond stressed the dangers of the Administration’s decision to treat foreign terrorists as common criminals and the impact of reverting back to this pre-9-11 mindset.

We must resist the temptation to mistreat, mistrust, or stereotype our fellow Americans on the basis of color, nationality, race, or religion. The survival of our nation depends on our success in this endeavor. As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools."

Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt urged President Obama to make a final decision about troop levels in Afghanistan. In a letter signed by fourteen Republican Members of Congress, including Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio), Blunt calls on the president to adopt General McChrystal’s recommendations and provide the forces and strategic direction necessary to fight and win.
