Three leaders have found themselves in the path of the wrath of Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama, may his name be praised on high:
Dear Editor,
A recent (Jan. 23, 2012) article in the New York Times reveals in detail how unevenly the evils of casino gambling fall on those among us who can least afford to lose. There can be no doubt that the revenue we gain from gambling is not worth the lives that it destroys or the crime that it fosters.
For at least 30 years, Joe Paterno was praised as not only an iconic football coach, but as Mr. Values himself. He stayed in one isolated place and coached a team with the plainest uniforms in sports. The media portrayed that as an extension of Joe Paterno's ideals himself, that the all-time winningest coach in college football cared nothing about himself and only about his team. He was made to stand for all that was good and right in college football against a rising tide of commercialism and egotism.
Although I don’t like writing about the same topic two weeks in a row, I have to mention the city council’s candy-throwing ban again, because there is so much misinformation going around about it.
The opinion column of Dave Weinbaum cites two cases of honor killings in the U.S. that "are on trial right now."
Shortly before 4 a.m. Tuesday, while most people were tucked away snug in their beds, I was in my bathtub.
If not N.O.W., who? If not today, when? Seems more Muslim women are increasingly subject to Sharia Law thanks in good part to the Obama Administration’s support of the Arab Spring uprisings. Instead of pliable despots like Kaddafi and Mubarak, all of Northern Africa has been “reformed” into an Islamist Caliphate, either running or to be run by the previously barred Muslim Brotherhood. Unless you think Obama a dolt, the Brotherhood was chosen by Dear Leader.
Let’s get this straight: Mayor Bill Jenks is not trying to ban the distribution of candy to children at the Christmas Parade, the St. Pat’s Parade or any other parade that traverses Rolla streets.
If you’re anything like me, holidays are a double-edged sword.
One of the reasons politics is so dirty is that some politicians who have no clue on how to govern can win elections if they can lie, whine and point fingers at others without an effective call-out by the media and the peeps.
At a good friend’s suggestion, I went to a doctor who specialized in finding cures through pain reduction.
Do the Occupiers represent a world-wide Socialist/Communist revolution out to overthrow our government or are they a bunch of whiners who are holding the country hostage in order to be paid by people who hold down jobs and pay taxes?
Let me introduce my newest success. I am the STL Cardinal anointed Mid-Mo Rally Squirrel.
One of the worst things that can happen from a heated national debate over our national spending and debt is… nothing.
Don’t believe me? Just ask Obama. In an ABC Jake Tapper interview our President said, “I’ve made all the right choices.” Self-grading translations? A+++. Now that’s a big improvement over the B+/A- he gave himself after his first year. Barack wouldn’t lie to us peons, would he? So let’s take the ‘tude of trusting him until proven otherwise and explore his massive accomplishments:
The occupiers are pawns in the next stage of an attempt to take sovereignty from all nations and award it to the UN. One need not pay attention to the incoherent babblings of the now-smelly scrum. They are there in numbers large enough so the organizers can mold their purpose to the leaders’ needs--even if the swarm can’t communicate it.
It seems like everywhere we turn, we’re bombarded with images of politicians and different political groups arguing. The way the media presents it, agreement on any issue seems impossible.
Low taxes are good for the economy. That thinking has dominated fiscally-conservative policy for decades. When the government takes less money from the private sector (from employers, families and public institutions), more money goes toward economic activity in our own communities.
Why are sponges so self absorbed?
As sure as Obama is a Socialist, a sea change has occurred regarding the relationship between the majority of Christians and how they relate to Israel, Jews and President Obama.
