Joseph Austin Horn, beloved son of Mrs. William (Joanne Bailey) Mayberry and the late Joseph H. Horn passed away at his home on June 18, 2009.

Austin was born in White Plains, N.Y. on Dec. 29, 1942.  He lived most of his youth in Rolla, Mo.

Austin was an adventurer. He served in the US Army and was a Los Angeles County, Calif. deputy sheriff prior to his retirement.

His dear first wife, Alicia, his father, Joe Horn, and his cherished stepfather, William R. Mayberry, preceded Austin in death.

Austin is survived by his wife, Marsha, his mother, Mrs. William R. Mayberry, son, J.P. Horn, daughter Kris Anderson, and brothers Jim Mayberry and Guy Mayberry.
