Sam Woods, of Rolla, passed away on Sunday, October 25 at St. Louis Altenheim where he and his wife, Bette Rose, have been living since May of this year.
Sam was born in Jerome on October 25, 1923, and passed away on his 86th birthday.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, Rolla, at 1:30 p.m., on Sunday, November 15, after which a private burial will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans, 20345 Highway 28, St. Robert, MO 65459. Please mark check for "Veterans Memorial Park" in honor of Sam Woods.
