William “Bill” Junior Hoss passed from this life Monday, June 29, 2009 at the age of 85. 
He was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Newburg, Mo.  Bill was a World War II Veteran.  Bill married Dorthy Martin Aug. 26, 1966, and they enjoyed 42 years together.
Bill lived most of his life in Newburg, he loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, most every day he would hunt aluminum cans and donate the proceeds to the First Christian Church. 
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie and William Hoss; daughter, Tammy Hoss; Brothers Jackie Dale, Paul and Charlie Hoss. 
Bill is survived by his wife Dorthy A. Hoss of Newburg; his son William H. Hoss and wife Regina of Rolla; two daughters Shirley Henry and husband Bob of Doolittle; Bobbie Earney and husband Bill of Doolittle; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  Bill will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 
Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Teague And Sons Funeral Home in Newburg. 
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at the Teague And Sons Funeral Home in Newburg. 
Interment will be at the Newburg Cemetery in Newburg, Mo. 
All arrangements were made under the direction of the Teague And Sons Funeral Home, Inc in Newburg, Mo.
