Danny E. Ries, of Rolla, passed away at his home on Friday, June 26, at the age of 62.
He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on Aug. 23, 1946, to the late Howard and Alberta (Nash) Ries.
Danny is survived by two children, Bobby Ries and wife Samantha, of Rolla, and Sheryl Ries, also of Rolla; four brothers, Jim Ries and wife Donna, Rick Ries, Tony Ries, all of Rolla, and Jeffery Ries of Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Ann Simpson, of Rolla, and half-sister, Diana Hanes, of Springfield; six grandchildren, Christin Morris, Kenneth Ries, Seth Ries, Devin Ries, Payton Ries, and Juileon Ries.
A funeral service for Danny Ries will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 3, at the Null & Son Funeral Home with Leroy Nixon and Kenneth Campbell officiating.
Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at the funeral home.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Null & Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
