Christopher Shawn James, 54, of Moberly, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly.
Visitation for Christopher will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6 at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Davis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Fairley officiating. Burial will follow in the Bunceton Masonic Cemetery.
Christopher Shawn James was born Nov. 29, 1962, in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Arthur Gene James and Beverly Jean Lutz James. Christopher was a handy man who could fix anything. He loved his job at Mack Hils Metal fabrication as a laser operator. He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back to help anyone. You could find Christopher watching “American Pickers” and then see him out antiquing and searching in thrift stores for a treasure. He loved WWE wrestling, most of all, his family was the most important thing to him.
Christopher is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Shawn Roberts of Elkhart, Indiana, and Mark Dodson of Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter, Jamie Leigh Davidson of Elkhart, Indiana. Also surviving are brothers, Tim and Bryan James of Moberly, Missouri, and Sister, Becky James LaForce of Newcomers Town, Ohio. He will be dearly missed by his 16 grandchildren.
