Chinese spring festival Sunday

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at Missouri University of Science and Technology invites the campus and community to attend its annual Spring Festival, also called the Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year, Jan. 29.

 To usher in 2012 — the Year of the Dragon — CSSA has planned a cultural show and dinner featuring authentic Chinese cuisine for both meat-lovers and vegetarians. Event tickets are $5 for the dinner and $5 for the show and must be purchased together. The cultural show begins at 5 p.m. in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall. The dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Havener Center. Tickets are on sale in the Havener Center and the Leach Theatre Box Office. Call the box office at 573-341-4219 for ticket information.
