Motorists will see more law enforcement officers on Interstate 44 on Saturday, Oct. 17. The Rolla Police Department will join law enforcement agencies across Missouri to crack down on unbuckled, speeding and impaired drivers.

The enforcement effort will span the I-44 corridor cracking down on unsafe driving and reminding drivers to be safe out there.

“The Heat is On reckless driving,” said Corporal Tim Mayfield, Traffic Division Supervisor with the Rolla Police Department. “We will be out in full force on Saturday, Oct. 17 along the I-44 corridor to remind drivers to slow down, buckle up and never drive impaired.”
