MHP conducting death investigation

     Captain Luke Vislay, director of the Division of Drug and Crime
   Control, announces that at the request of the Wright County Sheriff’s
   Department the Troop G Investigative Unit currently is conducting a
   death investigation of the apparent suicide of Loren Liles, 60, of
   Hartville, MO.


      Liles was discovered by a sheriff’s department employee during the
   early morning hours of October 29, 2009, at the Wright County Jail
   where he was incarcerated.
     

An autopsy is being conducted at Southwest Missouri Forensics, in
   Springfield, MO. This is an ongoing investigation. Any further
   questions should be directed to Sgt. Jason P. Clark, Division of Drug
   and Crime Control, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jefferson City, at
   (573) 522-0980.
