Couple sentenced on federal meth charges

Two Jefferson County people were sentenced on federal methamphetamine charges, Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap announced today.

Shane A. Meyer, 35, Cedar Hill, MO, was sentenced to 96 months in prison; and Tracy Lalumandier, 36, Cedar Hill, MO, was sentenced to three years of probation.  Each defendant pleaded guilty on August 13, 2009, to one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine for the manufacture of methamphetamine.  They appeared Tuesday for sentencing before United States District Judge Carol E. Jackson.

Reap commended the work on the case by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and the Jefferson Municipal Enforcement Group.
