Eleven new faculty members began teaching and research at Missouri University of Science and Technology since January 2009.

Mathew Goldberg, lecturer, English and technical communication
Ryan Hutcheson, assistant teaching professor, mechanical and aerospace engineering
Ulrich Jentschura, assistant professor, physics
Hyoung-Koo Lee, assistant professor, mining and nuclear engineering
Kevin Martin, assistant research professor, mechanical and aerospace engineering
Bansari Mitra, lecturer, English and technical communication
Manikantan Nair, lecturer, chemistry
John Seiffertt IV, assistant teaching professor, electrical and computer engineering
Theresa Swift, assistant teaching professor, electrical engineering
